Incorporating an ergonomically designed pendent you simply press the “UP” button to lift your mobility device then the “OUT” button to move your mobility device out of the vehicle. An important feature of these lifts are the custom bases, provided at no additional cost, that are designed to fit specifically in to your vehicle. Also, Bruno has designed thousands of mating docking devices for different scooters and wheelchairs to make sure the lift works seamlessly with yours. Like the name says, the original Curb-Sider® is designed to lift and move your scooter or wheelchair to the curbside of your vehicle so you can load/unload. You can also load/unload directly behind your vehicle as well. This flexibility is important when parking options are limited. When installed by the factory trained and certified technicians at Custom Mobility, the VSL-6000’s custom base, which is built specifically for the year, make and model of your vehicle, fits perfectly and does not alter or damage you vehicle. Our technicians are also trained to install the “docking device” on your scooter or wheelchair so that it is minimally invasive and is perfectly balanced for safe operation. With a capacity of 250, 400, or 450 pounds, the VSL-6000 is the perfect fully automatic lift for most of the powered mobility devices on the market today.
